BLOOD OF A SERIAL KILLER
It's only natural for Benny Jones to want to know more about the father he never met. He's turning eighteen and his doting mother, Eve, can no longer put off answering his questions with the excuse that he is too young to understand.
Discovering whose genes he carries, Benny grasps why he has behaved the way he has in recent times and is intrigued to learn more about the darker side of his family. He has many questions, and his grandmother Lily Green, once known as the notorious killer The Phantom, lives on in a mental hospital not far from home and she could supply the answers.
The corpses pile up as Benny discovers his purpose in life...
FANATIC...
Martin Day is at breaking point. The loner, ignored and ridiculed for as long as he can remember, looks to his hero for inspiration. Sadly, for those in the near vicinity, the person Martin looks up to most is notorious killer The Phantom.

Murder in the Genes The Trilogy Murder in the Genes Trilogy eBook James Ross Simon Okill Reviews
it was quite unrealistic with over the top coincidences which detracted from the story, that in itself was ridiculous. it appeared that little research had been done in to serial killers or police combatting such. the characters of the police officers were poorly developed and the story developed in to a fantasy , understandable in the author`s mind presumably. a very disappointing read.
A good story which scarily could actually happen . Definitely Not for kids. I've read a few by Jams and he's a very good storyteller.
Decent, easy read to help pass an evening or two. Plot twists were well planned. The ending of the trilogy felt a bit rushed and would have been more satisfying to see a slower buildup to the overall climax.
I would have to say that this book is very different than others. It was very unusual and not what I expected.
completed this book but too much volence.... language, and graphic sexual details..... did not enjoy
From beginning to beginning this story was intense the writing superb. This treatment of a killer was intriguing, well pleased with my purchase.
I'm a huge fan of crime novels and serial killers and this book satisfied both genres wholeheartedly.
The first book reeled me in. I was interested in the Green family curse. The ending set the hook and I needed more!
The second book sealed the deal and I was shocked to read Eves involvement at the end. The blood does hold a curse that's for sure.
The third book. Blew. Me. Away. I didn't know how it could possibly hold a candle to the Green murders but wow. The Hammer in my opinion outdid the entire Green family in a fraction of the time.
Bloody. Gore filled and a mental rollercoaster.
Soooooo why end at three. Let's make it 4?! Here's to hoping the rage lives on.
